ABOUT THE RIVER CHURH

We are a community of people that is passionate about Jesus, to allow the Holy Spirit to lead His church and to glorify the Father.  We disciple people in experiential worship, prayer and hearing God's voice, studying the Bible and sharing our faith as we do the supernatural things Jesus did.  

 

We desire to train and equip people to live out the life of purpose God has called them to.  This starts with right relationship with God and includes right relationships with other people.

 

We believe in the young generations and that God is going to use young people in extraordinary ways to impact this world.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is disicpleship. Jesus said to make disciples of all the nations, so that is what we do.  We disciple hands on and not only in the classroom or in Starbucks.  To learn more about our mission you can click the button below.

OUR VISION

God has given us three elements to our vision are impossible for us to accomplish on our own.  We are modeling a different way of church, teaching the world to worship in a different way and welcoming an outpouring of the Spirit starting at Columbine High School that will sweep across the world.  To learn more about our vision you can click below.

OUR BELIEFS

We believe the Bible and we believe all of it.  We don't just believe the easy parts, but we believe all of the Bible. OUR HISTORY

SMALL BEGINNINGS

  1. The River Church has roots in the Vineyard Church Movement.  The Littleton Vineyard was founded in 1991 and spent 18 years of that time at Front Range Christian School.
  2. Jack and Tammy Fairweather were missionaries in the Philippines from January 2010 to December of 2020.  They came back because Jack got very sick and was bedridden for three years.  Jack was miraculously healed on April 12, 2021 and the Lord made it clear to them that they were to stay and pastor the church.
  3. 2021 to 2023 were years of laying a foundation and learning how to allow the Holy Spirit to lead His church.
  4. On January 6, 2024 The River Church launched . The Lord has been doing amazing things in and through The River and we are excited for what is to come.
