VISION

At River Kids, we believe that every child is a precious image-bearer of God, created with purpose and destined to reflect His glory. Our mission is to guide children into a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus, teaching them to hear God’s voice, live in His Kingdom, and walk in relationship with Him and others. We are committed to creating a playful and nurturing environment where children are discipled in the ways of the Kingdom, equipped to serve, and empowered to live out their God-given purpose.

We are passionate about creating a safe, playful, welcoming, and engaging space where children can grow in their faith and discover their unique identity in Christ. Our ministry is built on the foundation of nurturing each child's spiritual journey, helping them build strong relationships with Jesus and others.

SAFE AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT

The safety of your children is our top priority. We have a secure check-in system open for the first 45 minutes of each service, and parent tags are provided to ensure a safe and smooth check-in and out process. If you’re new or uncertain, our experienced children’s ministers would be happy to give you and your family a tour of River Kids Ministry. You’ll have the chance to see the classrooms, meet the teachers, and ask any questions you may have. Please contact us to schedule a tour.

AGE GROUPS

NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL

Our nursery and preschool classes are located on the south side of the fellowship hall, offering a safe and nurturing environment for our littlest members, from birth through 4 years old.

Babies (8 weeks – 2 years)
Our Babies area is a warm and caring environment where our youngest members are loved and nurtured.
Littles (2 years – 4 years)
The Littles group engages in fun, age-appropriate activities that introduce them to God's love through stories, songs, and play.

ELEMENTARY

Elementary classes are held downstairs in the Kids Blast room. Access this area by taking the white staircase. Here, children from Kindergarten through 5th grade engage in dynamic Bible teachings and activities that help them grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Bigs (5 years – 11 years)
The Bigs group dives deeper into dynamic Bible teachings, interactive activities, and community-building that help them grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus.

What are your safety precautions?

We have a rigorous check-in and check-out process, staffed by trained volunteers, to ensure the safety of every child. Our facilities are secure, and all our volunteers are background-checked and trained to provide a safe environment for your children.

How does River Kids partner with families?

We believe in partnering with families to support your child’s spiritual growth. We offer resources, parent updates, and regular communication to help you continue the faith journey at home. We partner with families by hosting events throughout the year for families to get connected to each other and the greater church community. Please see our church calendar for all upcoming events.

How do I dedicate my child at The River Church?

What curriculum do you use?

We use a biblically sound, age-appropriate curriculum that is engaging and designed to help children grow in their knowledge of the Bible and their relationship with Jesus. For the 2024-2027 rotation we are utilizing the Gospel Project curriculum. If you want to learn more about the Gospel Project, follow this link.
